My wish for you is that you will find a place where you heart, soul, and mind areĬontent and you feel that you are becoming the person you have always dreamed ofĪlongside people who push you to live louder and dream bigger. When I see them lead, achieve, and celebrate one another for all of life’s accomplishments, I know what we have is real. Our motto, We Life For Each Other, encompasses the foundation upon which our sorority was founded: our sisterhood. I am instantly humbled when I think about how I have the opportunity to lead close to 300 women day in and day out. It is because of this feeling that I felt called to serve Alpha Delta Pi as Chapter President and to give back in all the ways this chapter has loved me so well. My feelings about Alpha Delta Pi are so hard to put into words because it is difficult to describe the feeling of finding a place where you can be unapologetically yourself and still deeply loved and appreciated at the same time.
Each day before us is not known, but the women of Alpha Delta Pi celebrate that uncertainty by always showing up for the people and the place they love. We have sisters involved in various aspects around campus, including holding jobs. We won homecoming duchess in 2017, homecoming queen in 20, Ms. As we approach our 175th Anniversary in 2026, now. Each sister who has joined Alpha Delta Pi since our Founders established The Adelphean Society in 1851 is part of our story. Race for Ronald is a race held for organizations all around campus to participate and help raise money for our philanthropy. Pi Portal is used by collegiate chapters and alumnae associations to manage membership information and submit reports. They proudly host a philanthropy event in the fall, Race for Ronald and in the spring, Cheer Toss. We participate regularly with the local Ronald McDonald house. Alpha Delta Pi’s philanthropy is Ronald Mcdonald House. This group of women live life boldly and with an unrivaled sense of compassion. Zeta Zeta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was re-colonized on November 1st, 2008.
We hope that you too can find a home in Alpha Delta Pi. As someone who has a difficult time living in the moment, these women keep me grounded and open my eyes to the beauty of human connection. In Alpha Delta Pi, you can find a friend to laugh with at the end of a hard day, a shoulder to cry on when you’re feeling sad, sisters to eat dinner with every night, and a family to come home to everyday. However, it truly has changed my life for the better. I was not expecting this experience in the slightest.
It seems to me that the best things in life always come when you are not expecting them. Alpha Delta Pi found me in a time when I did not know I needed it and for that I am forever grateful. I came to the University of Florida looking for a place to figure out who I was and to become a version of myself that I could be proud of.
The chapter supports the Ronald McDonald house with our annual Diamond Classic golf outing, Rock-4-RMH, Silent Auction, and Pie-a-Pi.Alpha Delta Pi is not just the chapter I joined three short years ago, but my home: today, tomorrow, and forever.
